# AutoTrader vehicle search: `POST /v1/autotrader/search`

One AutoTrader search page (up to 25 vehicles).

Each vehicle carries VIN, condition, price, year, make, model, mileage,
colors, engine, transmission, drivetrain, fuel economy, photo and dealer
location. Pass a search URL or make/model with a ZIP.

Request body (JSON):

- `url` (string (uri) | null; optional; min length 1, max length 2083): An AutoTrader search URL; overrides the make/model/zip fields.
- `make` (string | null; optional): Vehicle make slug, e.g. 'honda'. Needed unless url is given.
- `model` (string | null; optional): Vehicle model slug, e.g. 'civic'.
- `zip` (string | null; optional): 5-digit US ZIP code for the search area.
- `limit` (integer; optional; default 25; min 1, max 25): Maximum vehicles to return (one page).

Base URL: `https://api.scrapercompany.com`. Auth: send your key in the `x-api-key` header. A failed request (4xx or 5xx) or an empty result costs 0 credits.
