# SEC filings: `POST /v1/sec/filings`

Cost: 1 credit (1 (an empty answer, an unknown company and failed requests are free)). Docs: https://scrapercompany.com/docs/reference/sec-filings

A filer's profile (name, tickers, exchanges, industry code, state of
incorporation, fiscal year end, address) and its recent filings newest
first: form, filing and report dates, accession number, 8-K items, and
links to the main document and the filing index. Covers EDGAR's recent
list (the last 1,000 filings or a year, whichever is more);
`older_filings_not_listed` says whether there are older ones.

Request body (JSON):

- `company` (string; required; pattern ^(\d{1,10}|[A-Za-z][A-Za-z0-9.\-]{0,9})$): Ticker (`AAPL`, `BRK.B`) or SEC CIK number (`320193`). Find the CIK of a company without a ticker, a fund or a person by name with `POST /v1/sec/companies`.
- `forms` (array of string; optional; max items 20): Form types to keep (`10-K`, `10-Q`, `8-K`, `4`, `S-1`, `13F-HR`); each also keeps its amendments (`10-K/A`). Empty keeps every form.
- `since` (string (date) | null; optional): Earliest filing date.
- `until` (string (date) | null; optional): Latest filing date.
- `limit` (integer; optional; default 50; min 1, max 200): Most filings returned, newest first.

Base URL: `https://api.scrapercompany.com`. Auth: send your key in the `x-api-key` header. A failed request (4xx or 5xx) or an empty result costs 0 credits.
