# Fund holdings (13F): `POST /v1/sec/holdings`

Cost: 4 credits (4 (an empty answer, an unknown company and failed requests are free)). Docs: https://scrapercompany.com/docs/reference/sec-holdings

What an institutional manager held at a quarter end, from its
13F-HR: each security (issuer, class, CUSIP, put or call) with its
value in USD, shares and weight in the portfolio, largest first. Lines
the manager filed per sub-manager are summed per security (`lines`).
`compare` reads the previous quarter too and marks each holding new,
increased, reduced or unchanged, and lists positions sold out.

Request body (JSON):

- `company` (string; required; pattern ^(\d{1,10}|[A-Za-z][A-Za-z0-9.\-]{0,9})$): The manager's ticker (`BRK-B`) or CIK (`1350694` is Bridgewater Associates). Find a fund's CIK by name with `POST /v1/sec/companies`.
- `period` (string (date) | null; optional): Quarter end to read (`2026-06-30`); the latest report when omitted.
- `compare` (boolean; optional; default false): Also read the previous quarter's report: each holding gets its share change, and positions sold out are listed.
- `limit` (integer; optional; default 100; min 1, max 1000): Most holdings returned, largest value first.
