A Google Hotels API or an Apify Store Actor?

Search the Apify Store for “Google Hotels” and dozens of Actors come back, each written and priced by its own author and run on Apify's platform. ScraperCompany is one API with one price list for Google Hotels, OTA rates and flights, and it also publishes Actors in the Store.

Below: how five of the most-used Google Hotels Actors are priced, what a ScraperCompany call costs, and what changes when you move between the two.

Apify figures as of 14 October 2026, from docs.apify.com/platform/actors/running/actors-in-store, apify.com/pricing and api.apify.com/v2/store?search=google hotels. Check their site for current terms.

How five Google Hotels Actors are priced

These are the five Actors with the most users among the Store's results for “google hotels”. Each links to its Store page, where the price line is shown, and to its public pricing data, where its events and prices are listed. An Actor start is charged per GB of memory the run uses, at least once. We have not run these Actors, so nothing here says how well they work.

Read the table as a warning, not a ranking. The unit is a “result” for one Actor, a “page processed” for another and a “hotel result” for a third, so the price lines cannot be compared directly. Where an Actor tiers its prices by Apify plan, its “from” price is the Gold tier, and the Free plan pays more. Some charge a fee per run, and two list Apify platform usage as paid by you on top. Run each Actor on the same small job and read the cost in your Apify console before you choose.

What a ScraperCompany call costs

ScraperCompany publishes one credit cost per endpoint and one price per credit on each plan. A search page holds about 20 properties. There is no start or setup fee, and no platform usage on top.

Pricing. Prices are in US dollars. New accounts get a free trial of 50 calls or 14 days, whichever ends first, no card needed; after it, buy a credit pack or pick a plan. Out of credits returns HTTP 402. The ScraperCompany dollar figures on this page use the monthly plan prices; credit packs cost a little more per credit.

Frequently asked questions

Should I use a Google Hotels API or an Apify Actor?

Use an Actor if you already run on Apify, want one invoice from Apify, or need an output that one author's Actor happens to provide. Use an API if you want one documented schema and one price per call across Google Hotels, OTA rates and flights, and a plain request and response instead of a run. ScraperCompany offers both: the API, and Actors in the Store.

How are Apify Actors priced?

By their authors. Most Google Hotels Actors use pay per event: you pay for events the author defines, such as an Actor start, a result or a page processed, and the prices appear on the Actor's page. Many tier those prices by your Apify plan, and some also pass Apify platform usage on to you. The table on this page shows five of them.

Why are the headline prices so different?

The units differ. One Actor charges per result, another per page processed, another per hotel with OTA prices, and some add a start or setup fee per run. A figure like $0.10 per 1,000 results and one like $22.50 per 1,000 hotel results cannot be compared without running both on the same job.

Can I call an Actor like an API?

Yes. Apify's "Run Actor synchronously and get dataset items" endpoint starts an Actor and returns its dataset in the response, with a 408 if the run exceeds 300 seconds. For longer runs you start a run and read the dataset afterwards. A ScraperCompany call is one request with the result in the response.

Does ScraperCompany publish Actors?

Yes: a search Actor, a price calendar Actor and a property Actor, listed in the Apify Store under scrapercompany. They are priced in Apify events on their Store pages, not in this site's credits. The API on this site costs 4 credits for a search page, $0.0049 on Starter and $0.0032 on Scale.
