About ScraperCompany
ScraperCompany is an independent company that runs a hotel and travel data API. It turns the public pages of Google Hotels, online travel agencies, hotels’ own booking engines and a few other sources into structured JSON, with a fixed price per successful call.

What we do
- Hotel and travel data
- One API key returns Google Hotels prices and 330-night rate calendars, rates from Booking.com, Expedia, Hotels.com, Agoda, Airbnb and Vrbo, rates from hotels' own booking engines (44 detected automatically), guest reviews from five sources and Google Flights itineraries, as JSON.
- More on the same key
- Google Search, Maps, News and Trends, jobs (LinkedIn, Indeed, company careers boards), retail (Amazon, Walmart), YouTube and app-store data. Every source has its own page in the API index.
- For developers and AI agents
- A REST API with a published OpenAPI spec, an MCP server for AI agents and an llms.txt map of the site.
How it is priced and run
- Fixed price per call
- Each endpoint costs a published number of credits per successful call. Failed requests (any 4xx or 5xx response) and empty result pages cost nothing. See pricing.
- Prices with provenance
- Hotel prices keep base rate, taxes, fees and total separate, and say when and how each price was observed.
- Public status
- status.scrapercompany.com checks the website, the API and sign-in every 60 seconds and publishes the history. Changes to the API are listed in the changelog.
What we are and are not
- An independent company
- ScraperCompany is not affiliated with Google, Booking.com, Expedia, Airbnb or the other sites it collects public data from, and its APIs are not their official APIs.
- Not another company with a similar name
- ScraperCompany (scrapercompany.com) is not ScraperAPI (scraperapi.com), ScraperCity or the Web Scraper browser extension. They are separate companies and products.
- Open about gaps
- We have not completed a third-party audit such as SOC 2 and do not publish an uptime SLA. The security page lists what is in place today and what is not.
