Notable, customer-visible changes. The API is versioned under /v1; changes here are additive unless marked otherwise. Questions? Contact support.

Guest reviews, property lookup and ten vertical engines

  • One customer dashboard. The workspace now lives on the API host (usage breakdowns, request history with detail, and the API access page); the marketing site's simplified dashboard and account pages forward there. Customer sign-in on the marketing site lands in the same workspace.
  • Self-serve key rotation. The API access page rotates your key: the replacement keeps your key's name and rate limit, the old key stops working immediately, and the new key is shown once.

New sources, flights and MCP

  • Google Hotels destination search. POST /v1/hotels/search lists the properties Google Hotels shows for a destination, with prices (base, taxes, fees and total kept apart), ratings, filters and paging; POST /v1/serp/google_hotels is the SearchAPI google_hotels shape. 3 credits per page; an empty page is free. Guide.
  • Airbnb priced calendar. POST /v1/airbnb/calendar returns 1-12 months of availability and stay rules with Airbnb's own quoted prices; POST /v1/serp/airbnb_property_availability_calendar is the SearchAPI shape. 8 credits plus 1 per priced night. Guide.
  • Expedia and Vrbo. Name search and rooms with rate plans on Expedia (search, rates), and vacation-rental search and stay quotes on Vrbo (search, quote). OTA compare takes expedia_property_id and expedia_market, and reports each price's basis (price_basis, by_price_basis). Guide.
  • Google Flights, complete. Search returns every itinerary with per-segment detail, price insights and many more filters (stops, airlines, times, bags, emissions, layovers, multi-city). New: return and next-leg options, booking options and location search. Guide.
  • Changed: Google Flights tokens. booking_token now means the token POST /v1/serp/google_flights_booking takes (SerpApi's meaning) and appears only on complete itineraries; earlier legs carry departure_token. Google's raw price token, previously returned as booking_token, is now price_token on every itinerary: switch to it if you used booking_token as an itinerary key. One-way searches are now priced as one-way (they used to return round-trip fares), so one-way prices drop.
  • MCP server. 18 read-only tools for AI agents at https://api.scrapercompany.com/mcp, authenticated with your API key and metered like the REST calls they wrap. Set it up.
  • Health. GET /health now also returns the deployed commit and the process's started_at (Status).
  • Credit metering (beta, shadow mode), rolling out. Metered responses carry x-credits-charged and x-credits-remaining. New free endpoints: GET /v1/billing, GET /v1/billing/ledger and GET /v1/billing/plans. Nothing is blocked while metering runs in shadow mode; see Credits & billing.
  • New docs. Guides by task, a generated reference page for every endpoint, search (Cmd/Ctrl+K) and dark mode.

September 2026

  • Typed OpenAPI 3.1 spec at /openapi.json and /openapi.yaml, generated from the service: request schemas, typed responses, error bodies and per-operation credit costs.
  • Google Flights search and date-grid endpoints, plus Tripadvisor metasearch prices and Hostelworld rooms.
