Every industry we cover

A rental is priced against its market: what comparable listings charge for the same nights, which dates they have already sold, and the minimum stays they ask for. Market dashboards show that as averages. A manager or consultant who sets prices needs the comparables themselves, listing by listing, refreshed as often as the market moves.

The Airbnb calendar returns up to a year of dates for one listing, with availability, minimum and maximum nights and check-in rules and, for the nights you choose, the total a guest would pay as Airbnb quotes it. Vrbo adds destination search with stay prices, a quote for one stay and a per-date calendar with its stay rules. Reviews come from both. Every answer is the listing as published; nothing is modelled or estimated.

What do comparable Airbnb and Vrbo listings charge?

Are the calendar prices real quotes?

Yes, for the nights you ask to price. Each priced date is a real Airbnb quote for a stay starting that night, with the nightly rate, taxes, discounts and total. Availability alone costs the calendar’s base price; each priced night adds 1 credit.

Can I tell booked nights from blocked nights?

No. A date is available or not, and the API does not guess why. Vrbo says outright that it does not separate guest bookings from owner blocks. Track how a listing’s availability changes day to day to estimate pickup.

How far ahead can I read a calendar?

Airbnb returns 1 to 12 months a call. Vrbo returns 12 months by default and up to 24, which costs more.

Which markets are covered?

Airbnb worldwide, on the Airbnb site and in the currency you choose. Vrbo on its US site, in US dollars.

Do quotes include cleaning and service fees?

Airbnb quotes give the total a guest would pay, with taxes and discounts. Vrbo returns its own total and says when all fees are included, but does not itemise them, so they are not invented.

Do failed requests cost credits?

No. A failed or blocked call (any 4xx or 5xx response) costs 0 credits, and so does a search page that comes back empty. You pay only for successful results.
